Put a stocking over the end of vacuum to find tiny items like earrings 

Remember this life hack the next time you lose a small earring or any other tiny items and you suspect they might be under your sofa, or hidden in a furry rug at home or area in context. Cover the open end of your vacuum hose with socks, preferably thin ones, and tighten it using rubber-band or a similar object to tie it firmly. Switch on your vacuum and wave the “socked” hose around the area you suspect, and it a couple of minutes or less, you should find your precious object hanging on the opening of the hose.
